Your BIAB is coming loose? 5 reasons
It is of course not common, but it can happen that your BIAB comes loose prematurely. Stupid, but don't panic: there can be many reasons for this. We are happy to tell you why your BIAB sometimes does not stay in, and we give you tips to prevent it next time.
- Poor or no nail preparation. Preparing your nails is perhaps the most important thing outside of BIAB application. Degreasing plays a big part in this and oily nails cause breakage and chipping.
- Wrong position under the lamp. Many people make this mistake and it is often forgotten. It is really important that your nails are placed in the middle under the lamp. This will harden your nails the best.
- BIAB attaches to cuticle. It is very important to keep 1mm between your cuticle and the BIAB. When the BIAB touches the cuticle it causes breakage.
- Too long or angular nails. Long nails break off more easily and angular nails chip faster. So make sure you file your nails well and it is important that your nails are not too angular.
- Too thick or too few layers. Too thick layers of BIAB can cause a lot of pressure on your nail and it actually becomes too heavy, which makes it easier to break. It is important to apply 2 to 3 thin layers of BIAB. A thin layer is not enough, the nail is then not strong enough to stay on for long.
Is the solution for you here? We hope that you can now enjoy your BIAB even longer! If you still can't figure it out, feel free to take a look at our manual . We are happy to help you!
